ARK regularly assists in auto insurance cases, including issues such as apportionment of liability, reckless driving, the scope of cover for motor liability insurance and related EU law issues, as well as issues relating to mortgagee declarations and mortgagee interest insurance, leasing, recourse, dealer/workshop insurance and proof of insurance event in the event of damage or loss.

For a number of years, ARK has also assisted foreign insurance companies with the repatriation of cars from Denmark and Danish companies with the release and repatriation of cars from abroad.

Our clients include a large number of Danish insurance companies and a number of foreign companies.

For more than 25 years, ARK’s lawyers have assisted the insurance industry in auto insurance cases and have conducted landmark cases before both the High Courts and the Supreme Court on issues such as proof of insurance events, the legal position of mortgagees and the scope of liability insurance. These rulings have helped to define the legal position in this area and continue to do so.
